Why Would You Choose a "Do Follow" Blog
WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE A "DO FOLLOW" BLOG
Years ago when blogs were first beginning, spammers abused blog commenting by leaving their link behind to the worst kind of websites.
To correct the problem, Google implemented the "no follow" tag. This tag used by wordpress and implemented for URL's in blogs comments as standards in their scripts. To make a long story short, URL's in a "no follow" comment field are ignored by Google, and the benefits of the link are not available to the website looking to improve their ranking status.
The creation of a plug in allows the blog owner to turn off the "no follow" tag and create a "do follow" status that allows url's linked in the comment of a blog to enjoy the benefit of the link, and pagerank and indexing are improved for the target site.
By letting others know your blog is a "do follow" encourages other website owners to comment. So by using "do follow" blogs and leaving your link behind increases your websites chances to improve your ranking status. By leaving your link with a "do follow" blog will certainly gain search engine benefits and increase traffic to your website
