Nothing can be more misleading than the term "free traffic." I know this refers to traffic generation strategies that do not involve out of the pocket spending. It is also used to refer to all sources of traffic where you don't pay a "traffic vendor" to get some visitors to your site.

However, you can never get traffic for free.

Traffic refers to people who come to your site, not because they want to make your acquaintance, but because you offer some value they want to take advantage of.

If you have value, then it took some time to create such value. If you consider that your time is worth a lot, then you'll understand how wrong it is for anyone to expect free traffic.

Well, unless your time is worth nothing, your traffic campaign will cost you. Yes, spending a lot of money is optional. However, spending nothing at all is simply not possible. Remember, you'll at least pay to be connected online, get a domain name and hosting (I know there are free options. However, you CAN'T build the type of traffic we are talking about here with those for many reasons).

Spending time too is not really optional. You can reduce the time you spend if you know how. But, and a big but, you CAN'T get traffic without investing time -- Yours or others.

So, if you've been reading some lies and getting discouraged because you think you're working too hard, cheer up, you're not even working as hard as most of us.

It takes quite a lot to write 40 high quality articles daily even if you are an article robot. It takes me around 12 to 14 hours!

So, good friend, Keep up the hard work. Just make sure it's smart hard work. Your traffic stats will prove you right not too long from now.
